We are really excited to release The Republic Of Wolves Cardinals 7 Inch and Art Print. Its up now for PreOrder in the shop and will ship April 1st.
We first heard of Long Island’s The Republic Of Wolves from their demos that leaked last year. When they self released their first EP last December, we quickly purchased it online and fell in love with every song on the record. We are so excited to be working with them.
The Cardinals 7 Inch features “Cardinals” and the previously unreleased “Wood/Bricks” as well as two downloadable alternate versions of “For His Old Branches”. The gatefold cover doubles as a two color silkscreened 7″ x 14″ art print, signed and numbered by The Republic Of Wolves and cover artists Nicholas Cuomo and Gregg Andrew. Its limited to 500 multi colored vinyl and includes a digital download card of entire record.

The earthquake in Haiti is being reported as the worst disaster of its kind in history. There is a severe lack of food, water, medical supplies and resources on the ground. Right now, the best way to provide assistance is to donate money directly.
There are a number of resources to consider:
1. The White House has posted a useful page with links to relief efforts
and places to donate: http://www.whitehouse.gov/HaitiEarthquake
2. The American Red Cross will receive $10 towards the recovery effort if
you text “HAITI” to 90999 on your mobile phone, billing it to your
service.
3. DirectRelief International also has a text message-based relief system
to donate $10 by texting “GIVE10″ to 20222. You can also get news and

Your Wikipedia page says you have an album called “Beans and Toast” that was scheduled to come out in 2008, is that record still coming out?
Well, that was just a cd compilation with some new tracks that I put together for a tour of the UK in FEB. of 2008. I pressed 300 and made screened jackets to give it some kind of exclusitiy and that was it. Done.
